At Das Loft, the view is impossible to ignore, but the bar works because it does not stop there. High on the 18th floor of SO/ Vienna, it pairs the sweep of the skyline with cocktails, dinner, and a room that clearly understands how to turn height into atmosphere. There is spectacle built into the setting, but also enough polish and control to keep the experience from feeling like a rooftop cliché.
