High above Lujiazui, this rooftop bar draws people in with one of the most striking views in Shanghai. The setting is polished but not stiff, with the skyline and the Oriental Pearl Tower doing much of the work. Cocktails are part of the appeal, but the real reason to come is the sense of occasion that comes from being suspended above the city. It works equally well for a refined evening out or a late drink with visitors. When a bar can make Shanghai feel both grand and intimate at once, it is worth the trip.
